Sculptra

Sculptra is an injectable liquid made from poly-L-lactic acid. It's the synthetic form of lactic acid, which the body naturally produces after exercise. It's perfectly safe, FDA-approved, and contains absolutely no animal byproducts or human DNA.

Sculptra acts as an extremely potent collagen bioactivator and stimulator. It stimulates your own collagen, allowing tissue to gradually volumize. Over time, the poly-L-lactic acid dissipates as your own tissue takes its place. Since the product triggers your body to build its own collagen, results are not immediate and can take anywhere from 4 to 6 months.

SCULPTRA is indicated to increase the volume of depressed areas and especially to correct sagging skin. Therefore, anyone over 30 years of age is a candidate for treatment with Sculptra, as its use can prevent the progression of signs of aging.

During your first session, it will appear that SCULPTRA worked immediately due to the swelling caused by the injection of the water used to dilute SCULPTRA. After a few days, the swelling subsides and the water is absorbed by the body. It will take some time, at least a month, until the patient clearly sees the effects.
